Familiarize yourself with Specific responsibilities:
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineering teams to foster effective teamwork.
Prioritize design and development tasks, especially when dealing with multiple interdependencies.
Team up closely with the design manager to efficiently oversee designers’ schedules.
Strategically balance and address the varied priorities and requirements coming from cross-functional teams.
Gather and document requirements and objectives while also leading tasks to successful completion.
Ensure transparent communication of project and program progress to relevant stakeholders.
Demonstrate a sincere passion for user experience and design, coupled with a solid understanding of the design process.
Display strong capabilities in conflict resolution and negotiation.
Prove your adeptness in managing within an environment marked by uncertainty and in collaboration with diverse partners.
Skills that are specifically required:
A bachelor’s degree in computer-related fields, communication, or relevant experience is needed.
You must have accumulated over 8 years of pertinent experience exclusively within technology product organizations in the role of a Design Program Manager.
A degree from the National Institute of Design (NID) in Strategic Design Management would be a good investment.
Verbal, presentation and written communication skills are excellent.
Ability to use numbers and data to solve and arrive at solutions
