We are in search of a Virtual Reality Developer who will collaborate with mathematicians, physical engineers, and fellow developers to create integrated administrative software, software simulations, and hardware systems.
Your role involves the development of software interfaces for clients and the integration of off-the-shelf hardware devices to advance VR and simulation experiences.
Utilize 2D graphics libraries like Qt to manage controllers and simulated HUDs, as well as management software and 3D graphics libraries to construct virtual worlds in simulations.
Stay vigilant for market opportunities and collaborate with engineers and developers to create proofs of concept, prototypes, and initial product builds.
Evaluate various technologies and platforms, including VR software and hardware libraries.
Collaborate closely with our 3D Artists to enhance the efficiency of the 3D model pipeline and production processes.
As part of our Virtual Reality Developer roles in Bangalore, we expect you to have more than three years of experience in developing graphics, simulations, or VR software, using commonly employed programming languages like C++, C, Java, or C#.
Proficiency in working with 3D graphics engines or libraries such as Unreal, OpenGL, and Unity3D is a must.
A firm grasp of 3D graphics fundamentals and a strong commitment to continuous learning in this field are highly valued.
Experience with WebVR and UnityScript is an advantage.
If you have experience using tools as a 3D artist with applications like Maya and 3DMAX, your expertise will be beneficial.
Develop VR applications for platforms like Google Cardboard, Vive, and/or Oculus.
Gain an understanding of the real-time graphics pipeline, including concepts related to texturing, lighting, shader development, and shadowing.
Possess a strong knowledge of sound design, covering aspects such as audio location, audio effects, background music, and other elements for creating an immersive VR experience.
