Familiarize Yourself with Responsibilities:
Securing the harmonious integration of front-end developers’ user-facing components into the PHP backend.
Constructing PHP modules that are efficient, can be tested, and are reusable.
Solving complex performance issues and architectural challenges to enhance efficiency.
Integrating data storage solutions for improved application performance in a horizontally scalable environment.
Deploying to Linux or Windows Server environments using methods like SSH, SCP, SFTP, etc.
Demonstrating expertise in code and release management.
Defining and developing MVC, REST, and Hybrid (MVC+REST combined) applications.
Proficiency in PHP web frameworks such as Laravel, Yii, CI, WordPress, depending on your technology stack.
Understanding fully synchronous behavior in PHP and MVC design patterns.
Basic knowledge or experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Expertise in object-oriented PHP programming.
Awareness of accessibility and security compliance, depending on the specific project.
Experience with standard PHP and web server exploits and their solutions.
Integrating user authentication and authorization throughout various systems, environments, and servers.
Integrating multiple data sources and databases into a single system.
Familiarity with PHP’s limitations as a platform and potential workarounds.
Knowledge of installing, upgrading software packages, configuring web application servers, DNS, Apache, and addressing security issues.
Designing database structures that mirror and facilitate business operations.
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and declarative query languages.
Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git (preferred) or SVN.
Command-line use of PHP, CRON, or other schedulers for handling scheduled tasks.
