Familiarize Yourself with Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D Augmented Reality experiences using gaming engines like Unity or Unreal.
  • Augmented Reality Developers are also responsible for implementing user flow and gameplay mechanics, involving collaboration with 3D artists, designers, system integrators, and architects.
  • Proactively identify and manage technical decisions, risks, actions, and opportunities.
  • Utilize various 3D graphics libraries to craft immersive virtual environments within simulations.
  • Leverage experimental hardware to architect novel AR experiences.
  • Possess a strong foundation in software engineering, with proficiency in C++, C, and Java.
  • Demonstrate a rapid ability to learn new techniques.
  • Showcase excellent communication skills and a knack for collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience with graphics rendering APIs such as OpenGL ES, Metal, and Vulkan.
  • Basic familiarity with AR Software Development Kits (SDKs) like ARKit, ARCore, Vuforia, or similar tools.
  • Previous exposure to tools used by 3D artists, such as 3DMAX and Maya, is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of computer vision and computer graphics is a plus.
  • Experience in Head-Mounted Display (HMD) AR applications (e.g., Oculus, HTC Vive, Hololens, Google Glasses, etc.).
  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and possess at least 5 years of software development experience as an Augmented Reality Specialist or Developer.
