Being in Solution Architect Job, your responsibilities encompass creating solutions that align with both cost considerations and user requirements. You will also play a key role in integrating existing applications, platforms, or systems. This may involve a wide array of integration scenarios, including web, cloud-based, and 3rd party software integration, as well as applications involving big data and artificial intelligence.

Familiarize Yourself with Responsibilities:

  • The Solution Architect’s role involves defining the project’s scope, researching existing configurations and systems, and determining if additional time and work are needed to align the project with enterprise-level systems.
  • They identify areas requiring additional solutions for project success and engage in effective communication with a diverse team, including developers, enterprise architects, stakeholders, and project managers.
  • The Solution Architect leverages their knowledge of functional requirements and existing systems to create project specifications before developers begin working on the project.
  • They also develop test plans, schedules, and documentation based on analyst reports, presenting project milestones and guidelines to team members.
  • Identifying potential issues between the client and system specifications and proposing better solutions is another key responsibility.
  • The Solution Architect’s primary objective is to create customized solutions.
  • The ideal candidate for this role should have over seven years of experience in the IT industry, specializing in solution architecture as either a Senior Solution Architect or Solution Architect.
  • Domain expertise of at least five years is a mandatory requirement.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills are vital for interacting with various internal and external stakeholders, including IT Management, developers, and executives.
  • The candidate should have experience working with executive teams, leading executive meetings and workshops.
  • In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle, development pipeline (from planning to monitoring), continuous integration and deployment, cloud-native solutions, and chatOps is crucial.
  • Experience with Agile (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.) and waterfall methodologies is preferred.
  • The Solution Architect should possess the ability to discuss workflows for different software development processes.
  • Proficiency in other technologies, such as iOS (Swift/Objective C), Android (Java), and web technologies (JavaScript + HTML5), especially in front-end web development, is advantageous.
  • A high-energy self-starter with a strong drive to excel in a dynamic, fast-growing startup is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential attributes for success in this role.
